Process
After I accept the commission, the client will have 3 days to send me reference images. If no communication has been made after 3 days, I will assume the client has lost interest.Shipping costs will be discussed and a final price will be submitted. Once the shipping has been established and the fee paid, sketching can begin.Each piece of art includes 1 beginning sketch and 2 revisions (within reason). Extra fees will be incurred if the revision becomes almost a full redo. When we discuss revisions, I will communicate if the revisions are venturing outside the scope of what is included in the original commission.Requested changes can only be made during the sketch phase. Once the final artwork has been started, no revisions can be made.Commissioner can request in-process artwork at any time. I will also send progress updates when I see fit.On the very rare chance there is an event on my end that might disrupt your commission timeline, I will communicate that as soon as possible. If needed, a new timeline will be discussed.
What is Artistree?
Artistree is a platform that makes the commission process smooth, organized, and safe for all parties. It allows for a central location to keep up-to-date with every step of the process and provides an easy way to communicate.Artistree charges your clients a platform fee of 6.5%. The artist keeps the full amount of the commission.As a client, you do not need to create an account to use Artistree. Check out the link below to read more about Artistree.
As the Artist
I have the right to accept or decline any commission without an explanation.I reserve the full rights of the artwork, but not the characters in the artwork.I will create art in my style, including specific elements you request. I will not create art in a different style, or anything meant to emulate another artist or style.
As the Client
You will send full references of any poses, characters, gear, colors, or anything else you want. The more thorough you are, the sooner I can start your commission.Sketching will start after payment is confirmed. If I make an artistic choice that you don’t like, changing it will count as a revision if we did not discuss this during the reference stage and I had instructions in writing.Check your emails regularly. You will receive notices from Artistree and I will contact you through email. Any delay might result in commissions being finished outside of the 30-day window.You may not bargain or ask for a different payment method.
Refunds and Cancelations
If you wish to cancel your commission, please contact me as soon as possible.No refunds will be given after I send the first in-process sketch of your order.If I have not finished within the given time period and you do not agree to a new schedule, I will issue a full refund.I reserve the right to cancel your commission at any time.
